Inspired by a competition in 2016 linked to Wareham Art Club, I began a series of small sketches in acrylic inks and watercolour, none of which is larger than 10cm x 6cm. The first six of these were sent for a national exhibition, the rest were being sold through Farwell's newsagents in Wareham.

I also exhibited a series of these pieces at Wareham Town Hall in November 2017, at an event organised by 'Wareham in Bloom'. This led to a new batch of images linked to local landmarks, which can be seen at the top of the page.

In addition, the art club instigated a new idea to exhibit a collection of images in 8"x 8" white frames to celebrate it's 25th anniversary. The square pictures are my response to that initiative.

My latest venture is to complete a sketch every day in an A6 book which records something that caught my attention on that day, starting on January 1st 2022. The inspiration for this came from a Christmas present from my friend Katie. Thanks K!
